PRAYER: Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the third respondent to expeditiously complete the investigation and file the charge sheet in Crime No.97 of 2017 on the file of the third respondent before the Jurisdictional Magistrate within the time stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to file a final report in Crime No.97 of 2017. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the third respondent has registered a case on 23.11.2017, in Crime No.97 of 2017 under Sections 498(A), 294(b), 323, 506(ii) of I.P.C and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Women Harassment Act, but so far, the third respondent has not even examined the petitioner and arrest also has not been made. Hence, the third respondent may be directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report at early.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that the investigation is in progress and he has represented that the final report will be filed within three months. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the third respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file final report within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
