This Writ Petition was listed on several occasions and there was no representation for the petitioner on many occasions. When the Writ Petition appeared in the list on 02.08.2021, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was adjourned to next week. Again, the matter was adjourned, at the request of the learned Counsel for the respondent on the second occasion. The presence of the learned Counsel for the petitioner was not noticed. On 16.08.2021, when the Writ Petition was listed, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, this Court directed the Registry to post the matter under the caption "for dismissal". W.P.(MD) No.7204 of 2013 2.When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing today, ie., 14.09.2021, there is no representation for the petitioner. Having regard to the conduct and attitude of the petitioner 's Counsel, this Court has no other option, but to dismiss the Writ Petition for non prosecution. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
