O R D E R

The petitioners have been arrayed as A1 to A5 and A11 & A12, which is pending in P.R.C.No.18 of 2014 on the file of the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti, Madurai District for the alleged offences under Sections 147, 148, 341,323 of IPC and Section 3(1) (x) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, seeking to quash P.R.C.No.18 of 2014 by recording the compromise entered between the accused and the complainant.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing both the counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as the defacto complainant who was also present before the court stated that the proceedings may be quashed. It is also submitted that so far as A6 is concerned, this court had https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

already been quashed the proceedings based upon the compromise memo filed by A6.

3. An affidavit has also been filed by the second respondent in which he stated that he has no objection to quash the charge sheet pending on the file of the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti, Madurai District.

4. Considering the above submission, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed in terms of compromise and P.R.C.No.18 of 2014 on the file of the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti, Madurai District stands quashed. The Joint Compromise memo shall form part of the order.
