ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner stating that she will be remanded in the kidnapping case in Crime No.72 of 2017.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the second respondent has informed that her son has eloped one girl by name Nandhini on 30.11.2017 and the petitioner also searching her son. He further submitted that the petitioner is in noway connected with the aforesaid act. However, the second respondent is threatening the petitioner to produce her son and the said Nandhini, failing which the petitioner will be remanded in the kidnapping case.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that based on the complaint given by one, Senthilkumar, the case was registered in Crime No.72 of 2017 on 01.12.2017 under the caption of 'Girl Missing'. He further submitted that the said girl is aged https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

about 17 years and the enquiry reveals that the petitioner's son has kidnapped the said minor girl and hence the petitioner was called for enquiry, but, she was not subjected to any harassment. 4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to expedite the investigation, if the investigation reveals that the petitioner's son has kidnapped the minor girl, then he has to alter the Sections and thereafter he has to proceed further in accordance with law. Instead of doing so, he should not unnecessarily harass the petitioner.

5.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
