This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 30.12.2017.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that based on the petitioner's complaint, a case has already been registered in Crime No.2 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(i) of IPC., on the file of the respondent police. He has also produced a copy of the FIR to that effect.

3. Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
