Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to grant police protection to conduct Kodai festival on 26-01-26 to 28-01-26 in Arulmigu Sri Muppidathi Amman Thirukovil, Aathiyadi Valaivu Street, Brahmadesam Village, Ambasamudram Taluk, Tirunelveli District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10-12-25.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to grant police protection to conduct Kodai festival on 26-01-2026 to 28-01-2026 in Arulmigu Sri Muppidathi Amman https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

Thirukovil, Aathiyadi Valaivu Street, Brahmadesam Village, Ambasamudram Taluk, Tirunelveli District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10-12-2025. 2.This Court is directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 10-12-2025 within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, for conducting Kodai festival on 26-01-2026 to 28-01-2026 in Arulmigu Sri Muppidathi Amman Thirukovil, Aathiyadi Valaivu Street, Brahmadesam Village, Ambasamudram Taluk, Tirunelveli District, in the light of the orders passed in W.P.(MD)No.459 of 2019, dated 11.01.2019, W.P. (MD)No.22434 of 2021, dated 17.12.2021 and W.P.(MDNo.3416 of 2025, dated 06.02.2025.

3.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
