Insurance and P.F. Claim amount of the petitioners' deceased son Sakthivel to the petitioner and his wife Nirmala / second respondent as per the guidelines issued by the Government and dispose the same within stipulated period specified by this Court. O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 29.10.2021 and grant the EPF Insurance and PF amount of the petitioners' deceased son namely Sakthivel to them.

2. The claim of the petitioners is that the petitioners' son Sakthivel who was working as Technician in the third respondent Office, unfortunately, died on 30.09.2018. Till now, the petitioners did not receive the EPF Insurance and PF amount of their deceased son and they made a representation to the second respondent in this regard. However, the same has not been considered. Hence, they approached this Court by filing the present Writ Petition.

3. Mr.V.S.Venkateswaran, learned Standing Counsel for EPF Organization takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 and submits that the representation of the petitioners for EPF Insurance and PF amount of the deceased son is under process and it would be considered within reasonable time.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned Standing Counsel and also considering the age of the petitioners, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law within a period of three weeks. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
