ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to dispose the I.D.O.P.No.27 of 2020 in I.A.No.3 of 2022 pending on the file of the learned Family Court at Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District 1/4

within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the revision petitioner, the marriage between the petitioner and respondent was solemnized on 22.05.2023 at Holy Rosary Church, Kanyakumari District as per Christian Rites and they were blessed with a baby child on 09.05.2024. In the meantime, the petitioner preferred a divorce petition against the respondent on 24.01.2020 in I.D.O.P.No.27 of 2020. The respondent did not appear before the Family Court for the hearing and the learned Family Court passed an ex parte order. After that, the petitioner has filed an amendment petition in I.A.No.3 of 2022. Since the petition was filed in the year 2020, the respondent has somehow delaying the disposal of the case. Hence, the present Civil Revision Petition is filed by the petitioner.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for petitioner. Since the revision is filed for seeking early disposal, no notice is necessary to the respondents.

4. Having been taken into consideration of the material facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, a 2/4

direction may be issued to the learned Family Court at Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, to dispose the case as expeditiously as possible.

5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the learned Family Court at Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District to dispose the I.A.No.3 of 2022 pending on his file, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits and in accordance with law.
