ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to direct the second respondent to register a case, based upon the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 31.01.2018.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is the owner of one car bearing Registration No.TN-76-AZ-7338 and since the proposed accused's husband was a friend to the petitioner, the petitioner has permitted the proposed accused's husband to use that car, but now the proposed accused refused to return the car and hence the petitioner has lodged a complaint, but, so far no action has been taken.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that the enquiry is still pending.

4.Recording the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and proceed further in accordance with law.

5.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
