The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the second respondent herein to issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to the petitioner for the purpose of travelling abroad for employment/work related reasons, in the light of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD) No. 21981 of 2025, dated 28.11.2025.
2. A perusal of the records reveal that the petitioner has been implicated in a criminal case in S.C.No.55 of 2025 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, Kanyakumari District at Nagercoil. The said charge sheet was challenged by the writ petitioner along with the others in Crl.O.P(MD) No.21981 of 2025 before this Court and this Court by an order dated 28.11.2025 has quashed the said charge sheet.

In view of the above said facts, there is no legal impediment for the writ petitioner to go abroad and therefore, the first respondent is directed to consider the request of the petitioner for issuance of passport and pass orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
