This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 29.09.2023 passed in W.P(MD)No.23816 of 2023. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.As per the G.O(D)No.222, Home (Prison-IV) Department, 28.02.2024, the request for premature release was rejected and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this contempt petition. 4.In view of the above, this contempt petition is closed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to challenge the rejection order in a proper proceedings.
