ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the second respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.2 of 2023 and to file a final report.

Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would contend that the investigation in Crime No.2 of 2023 of District Crime Branch Police Station, Karur District, is underway and prayed for two months time to file a final report.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the second respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report/referred charge sheet, as the case may be in Crime No.2 of 2023 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
