Let the petitioner apply afresh online for registration of relinquishment / sale deed through the respondents and if necessary token be obtained. I am confident that the respondents would register the document.
2. Let the petitioner apply and a direction is given to the second respondent, Sub Registrar, Sreerangham Sub Register Office to take a decision about the registration of the deed presented, if it is otherwise adequately stamped and necessary registration fee had been paid and the covenants of the document are also acceptable and lawful in the assessment of the second respondent. No further directions are required.
3. The petitioner may represent the documents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if it is done so
within a period of ten working days thereafter, a decision can be taken by the second respondent to register the document or if he seeks any clarification, to put them in writing and clarify from the petitioner.
4. This Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
