PRAYER:- For Bail in Crime No.20 of 2021 on the file of the respondent herein. ORDER:- The Court made the following order:- The petitioner is Accused No.2, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 21.09.2021, for the offences punishable under Section 8(c),20(b)(ii)(B) and Section 25 of NDPS Act in Crime No.20 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the de-facto complainant along with the police team, on secrete information from the Police Informer, were on surveillance near Samayapuram Weekly Market. At that time, they found a Lorry bearing Registration No.TN 82 A 2567 parked. That was identified by the police informer. They searched the vehicle. At that time, the accused Moovendran and Prabhu were found. Search was made and they were found in possession of 132 of Ganja. Based upon that, further process was undertaken and a case was registered as stated above.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that now trial has commenced and after examination, it was posted on 08.02.2024 for further witness.

4. In view of the above said submission, I find no reason to entertain this petition at this stage. After the examination of material witnesses are over, the petitioner can approach the trial Court for bail.
