The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first 1/5

respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by his wife in Na.Ka.No.C2/23660/2020.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.It is the case of the Petitioner that his wife purchased 0.20.5 ares of land in S.No.168/2 situated at Kothamangalam Group, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District from one Adhammai in the year 1995.The patta for the said property changed in the name of Petitioner's wife. While so, the second respondent herein filed an application before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Devakkottai for cancellation of patta issued in the name of Petitioner's wife,wherein, the Petitioner herein was added as one of the parties. The Revenue Divisional Officer, Devakkottai cancelled the patta stand in the name of the Petitioner's wife. Aggrieved by the said order, the Petitioner's wife preferred a revision before the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.C2/23660/2020 and the same has not been disposed of till date. Hence the Petitioner has come before this Court with the instant Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.

4.Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate who 2/5

appears for the first respondent would submit that the revision filed by the Petitioner' wife pending on the file of the first respondent will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter , the first respondent is directed to dispose of the revision filed by the Petitioner's wife pending on his file in Na.Ka.No.C2/23660/2020 and pass orders on its own merits, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
