ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the petitioner's property admeasuring 5,000 sq. ft., situated near the petitioner's family deity, Arulmigu Angala Parameswari Temple, at Vedhiyerenthal Group, Yenathi Sengottai Village, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District, based on the petitioner's online application bearing Grievance ID No.TN/REV/SVG/P/COLLMGDP/07APR25/11407021 dated 04.06.2025 and his representation dated 16.06.2025 submitted to the second respondent.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the lawful owner and is in possession of the subject property. Despite the petitioner's
online application dated 04.06.2025 and the representation dated 16.06.2025, the second respondent has failed to consider the request for issuance of patta. Such inaction on the part of the second respondent is arbitrary, unreasonable, and contrary to the settled principles of law. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

Recording the aforesaid submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The second respondent is directed to provide reasonable opportunity during such enquiry to the petitioner and any other persons who may be affected by such decision. Needless to state that in the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to
work out their remedies before the Civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
