Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue patta in the petitioner's name of the land belonging to the petitioner in Survey No. 328/2 to the extent of 0.49 Acres situate at Karisathan Village, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tirunelveli District as per the petitioner representation dated 16.08.2016.

This contempt petition is filed that the order of this Court in W.P(MD) No.21888 of 2016, dated 12.10.2020 has not been complied with.

CONT.P.(MD)No.201 of 2021 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

3.Today(06.04.2022), when this contempt petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader produced a copy of the proceedings of the District Collector, Tenkasi in e.fep.rP.2/13625/2020, dated 25.11.2021, that the petitioner's representation was complied with and the petitioner was directed to work out his remedy before the concerned Civil Court. 4.Recording the proceedings of the District Collector, Tenkasi in e.fep.rP.2/13625/2020, dated 25.11.2021, this contempt petition is closed. If the petitioner is still aggrieved over the order passed by the respondent, it is always open to him, to challenge the said order in the manner known to law.
