O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.] Though this writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the second respondent, dated 06.10.2025, thereby rejecting the request made by the petitioner seeking ordinary leave for 28 days for her brother, who is the life convict, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the convict is not entitled for ordinary leave since he has not completed the three years of
imprisonment, however he is entitled for emergency leave on the ground that the petitioner as well as the convict lost their parents and there is a huge loan and in order to repay the said loan amount, a property has to be sold out to arrange funds and hence, the presence of the convict the very much essential.
2. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the second respondent seeking Emergency Leave with valid reasons. On receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the representation.
