PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to provide the educational loan amount of Rs.2,23,500/- (Two Lakhs and Twenty Three Thousand and five Hundred Only) for the academic years from 2025-2029 to the petitioner's son N.Samrakshan for continue his B.E (Computer Science and Engineering Course) studies within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to provide educational loan of Rs.2,23,500/- for the academic year 2025-2029 to the petitioner's son, namely, N.Samrakshan for continuing his B.E.(Computer Science and Engineering Course).

2. According to the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Bank, the petitioner has to produce records to establish that she is employed in Trichirappalli. Only then the request of the petitioner could be considered by the Bank for disbursement of the education loan.

3. In view of the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the third respondent Bank with her employment details and other documents. The third respondent Bank is directed to consider the request of the petitioner and pass orders as per norms within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of documents from the writ petitioner. 2/4

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
