O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to direct the second respondent to register a case based upon the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 17.11.2017.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is working as Lower Divisional Clerk in Gandhigram Rural Institute - Deemed University, Gandhigram, Dindigul District and he went to meet the proposed accused, who is working as Vice-Chancellor, in that University with regard to his promotion, approval and pay allowance. At that time, the proposed accused criminally intimidated the petitioner by filthy words and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 17.11.2017, but so far, no action has been taken. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) has submitted that the petitioner has sent the complaint by post and the same

has been received by the second respondent on 07.12.2017, and the enquiry is still pending.

4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and proceed further in accordance with law.

5.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
