ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.4833 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel, dated 28.08.2023 in crime No.92 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that already, the competent authority initiated consequential proceedings in Crime No. 92 of 2023 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 332 and 506(ii) IPC r/w. 4(1)(a) 14A of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, in which, the petitioner's vehicle bearing Regn.No.TN 75 3949 Hyundai -I 10 Car offended in illegal transporting of liquors.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also conceded the consequential proceeding initiated by the competent authority and the same is pending in Ka.No.06/DSP/PEW/KKI/23.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is 2/4

closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report passed by the consequential proceeding. Further, the concerned authority is directed to dispose the proceedings within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
