ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the second respondent to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioners from the respondents 3 and 4 and their henchmen.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the first petitioner has appeared before the second respondent and made statement that a case is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vedasanthur and no further action is necessary.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that after receipt of the notice from this Court, the second respondent summoned the first petitioner.

4. Recording the submissions made on either sides, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the first petitioner and pass orders within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
