The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a mandamus, directing the second respondent to grant permission to a Plastic Grinding Unit in a property bearing Survey No. 78/12, situated at Muthumothanmozhi Village, Thisaiyanvilai Taluk, Tirunelveli District, based on his representation dated 13.06.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the first respondent and the learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the second respondent. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the second respondent has produced the proceedings of the 2/5

Commissioner, Radhapuram Panchayat Union - second respondent in Na.Ka.No.A2/831/2021, dated 24.01.2025, addressed to him. He further submitted that in accordance with the Government Order in G.O.(Ms) No.36, dated 12.11.2024, the petitioner is now required to submit his application before the first respondent. The said submission and the communication dated 24.01.2025 have not been refuted by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Recording the said submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is disposed of, granting liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh application before the first respondent. No costs.
