ORDER

The petitioner seeks protection to him and his family members.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on 12.11.2017, the petitioner and his family members was alleged to have assaulted by his neighbour Ananthan and on 07.12.2017, the petitioner had filed a complaint to the respondent police. He further submitted that the complaint filed by the petitioner is not being acted upon.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the representation / complaint filed by the petitioner is enquired and closed as 'mistake of fact'.

5. Recording the statement of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court directs the petitioner to move the concerned Magistrate to pursue his remedies available to him under law.

6. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
