ORDER

This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the second respondent not to harass him under the guise of an enquiry.

Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the third respondent, the second respondent registered First Information Report in Crime No.24 of 2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 and 120B of Indian Penal Code and investigation is pending.

3. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to follow the guidelines issued in the decision in D.K.Basu Vs. State of West Bengal reported in AIR (1997) SC 610.
