[Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.] Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 5 and Mr.K.Gnanasekaran, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), takes notice for the respondents 6 and 7.

2. This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 7 to take necessary and immediate actions required under law to conduct Madumarikkum Thiruvizha and Maalaithandum Thiruvizha scheduled to be conducted at Arulmigu Pommusamy Malaikovil and Arulmigu Pattavan Swamy Kovil situate at Kallai Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District, on 18.01.2026, through respondents 3 to 5, by taking into consideration the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2026.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5, on instructions submitted that the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department has proposed to conduct the above said festival on 18.01.2026 pursuant to the outcome of the Peace Committee Meeting.

4. Recording the above submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of as nothing survives for consideration. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
