The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.819 of 2014 dated 25.09.2014 on the file of the first respondent police.
2. It is seen that the alleged offence attributed against the petitioner is under Sections 452, 294(b) and 506(i) of the Indian Penal Code. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the first petitioner and the second respondent/de-facto complainant are present before this Court and their presence is also noted by this Court and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent filed an affidavit stating that since the matter in issue has been settled between the parties, he had no objection to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.819 of 2014 dated 25.09.2015 on the file of the first respondent.
3. Considering the nature of allegation and also considering the affidavit filed by the second respondent, this Court is inclined to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.819 of 2014. Accordingly, the Criminal Original https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Petition is allowed and the F.I.R. in Crime No.819 of 2014 on the file of the first respondent is hereby quashed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
