Heard both sides.

2. The writ petitioner alleges that there are encroachments in S.F.Nos.287 and 372 of L.N.S. Village, Rajavaikkal, Karur District.

3. The respondents confirm the character of the petition-mentioned survey numbers as water body. It is also conceded that there are encroachments. The learned Special Government Pleader would claim that Form-I notice was already issued.

4. We direct the fourth respondent to take the process to its logical conclusion. All the encroachments indicated by the petitioner will be removed within a period of four months from today. The encroachers shall be provided with due opportunity. This writ petition stands allowed, accordingly. No costs.
