PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to disburse petitioner's proportionate share of Rs.2,75,085/- as compensation along with interest for the loss of the land to an extent of 0.25.17 Hectares on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 10.09.2024. For Petitioner :

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed, seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the fourth respondent to disburse petitioner's proportionate share of Rs.2,75,085/- as compensation along with interest for the loss of the land to an extent of 0.25.17 Hectares on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 10.09.2024.

2. According to the petitioner, a High Tension Electric Tower, along with High Tension Electric Line, laid by the fourth respondent, is running through the petitioner's land and thereby, causing much financial

loss to the petitioner. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation to the fourth respondent for disbursal of compensation for the loss of his land. However, there is no action by the respondent. Hence, this Writ Petition.

3. In view of the limited scope of the prayer and also the fact that the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.09.2024, has been pending with the fourth respondent for about six months, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.09.2024 and pass orders on merit and in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. 24.02.2025 NCC :
