ORDER

The petitioner seek to quash the FIR in Crime No.382 of 2009 pending on the file of the 1st respondent police.

2.It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was working as a Salesman in Ration Shop and the same is subject to periodical inspection and audit on monthly basis. No wrong doing had been noted till November 2009. Thereafter, a complaint had been preferred on 22.11.2009 informing that this petitioner had done away with a sum of Rs.4,83,000/- on the basis of bogus bills. Informing that no details of bills have been given and that there is no complaint from any of the ration card holders, the learned counsel seeks to quash the case in Crime No.382 of 2009.

3.This petition seeking to quash the case registered in December 2009, has been moved only in the year 2015.

4.Observing that the FIR is not an Encyclopaedia, this petition shall stand dismissed. However, taking note of the position that the investigation is yet to be completed, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to expedite the investigation and file final report, as early as possible, not later than three months from today.
