ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to direct the first respondent, not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry, based on the complaint given by the second respondent.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has entered into the sale agreement with one Palanimuthu, in the year 2010, for purchasing certain lands and subsequently, two sale deeds have been obtained from the said Palanimuthu, after paying the proper consideration and that being so, the second respondent, who is mere having a role of introducing the petitioner for the said Palanimuthu, gave a false complaint to the first respondent stating that the petitioner has to pay some amount to him and based on the said complaint, the first respondent is harassing the petitioner. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that the enquiry is still pending with regard to the complaint given by the second respondent.

4.Considering the above submissions, the first respondent is directed to enquire the matter and if the enquiry reveals, any cognizable offence, then he can register a case and proceed further and instead of that the petitioner should not be harassed unnecessarily.

5.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
