Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to take necessary action upon the petition given by the petitioner dated 01.12.2022 and complete the enquiry within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This writ petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to take necessary action upon the petition given by the petitioner dated 01.12.2022 and complete the enquiry within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the above said complaint has been forwarded to the District Collector, Madurai for enquiry. Since the prima facie document that was annexed by the petitioner along with the complaint even did not suggest in crime, there was no delay on part of the Tahsildar in issuing the certificate and also pointed out the date of endorsement that was made by the Village Administrative Officer, Revene Inspector.

3. But however, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that not only this petitioner has been affected by the above said bribe demanded by the Tahsildar, but several persons have been affected, then only the complaint was given. But that was not considered. 2/4

Since the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the complaint was forwarded the the District Collector, Madurai, the above said complaint be enquired as per rules within three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order and if the petitioner is aggrieved by the outcome of the enquiry, he can workout the remedy through proper proceedings.
