ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.3, Madurai to proceed the case expeditiously in C.C.No. 598 of 2019 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No. III, Madurai and dispose the case within a time frame fixed by this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that already this Court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.13169 of 2020, dated 21.03.2022 had passed an order to conclude the trial within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of that order and certain directions were also given in the aforesaid order by this Court in Paragraph No.5. He sought for the indulgence of this Court for further insisting the learned trial Court to implement the said directions. 2/5

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) submitted that there are as many as 15 witnesses and sought for a reasonable time for conclusion of the trial.

4. Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.III, Madurai is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.598 of 2019 as expeditiously as possible within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
