O R D E R

The revision petitioner is the husband of the respondent and he has filed H.M.O.P.No.200 of 2017 for dissolution of his marriage with the respondent on the ground of desertion. In the said petition, the respondent has filed I.A.No.225 of 2018 under the Domestic Violence Act for certain relief in terms of Section 26 of the said Act. This was allowed and some directions have been given. Challenging the same, the revision petitioner is before this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent has not logged-in.

3. The learned counsel for the revision petitioner submits that the respondent has left the matrimonial home within two weeks of the marriage and now she is living with an another man.

4. Be that as it may, the learned counsel for the petitioner now only seeks modification of the prayer that he has sought in this petition and requires speedy disposal of the petition for dissolution of marriage.

5. Since the petition for dissolution of marriage is pending from 2017 and counter of the respondent too has been filed, this Court directs the Family Court, Tirunelveli to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.200 of 2017 on or before 30.04.2021.
