ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.255 of 2017.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.255 of 2017, under Sections 406 and 420 I.P.C., but, thereafter, no further action has been taken.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that the investigation is in progress and three months may be granted to file a final report.

4.Considering the fact that the above case is pending from 27.04.2017, the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report within a period of two months from this date.

5.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
