2. The writ petitioners had applied for common recruitment for selection to the post of Assistant Jailor in Prison and 4/8

Correctional Service Department included in the Tamil Nadu Subordinate Service pursuant to Notification No.09/2023 dated 12.04.2023. The written examination was held on 01.07.2023. As per the instructions, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submits that the selection process is over and they have also uploaded the answer key.

As far as the request of the writ petitioners for furnishing a copy of Computer Based Test response sheet is concerned, this Court directs the respondent herein to furnish the writ petitioners a copy of Computer Based Test response sheet within a period of one (1) week from the date of receipt of copy of this order. So far as the prayer of the writ petitioners seeking details of the selected candidates are concerned, the petitioners can revive the said request after going through their Computer Based Test response sheet. The question of appointment of the writ petitioners would arise only when they come within the zone of consideration. Therefore, such a prayer cannot be considered at this stage. 5/8

4. With the said observations, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
