ORDER

There is no representation for the petitioners. 2.The petitioners belonging to different communities and having loved each other, chose to marry without the knowledge of their parents on 31.01.2018. In this background, a case was lodged at the instance of the first petitioner's parents and it came to be registered in Crime No.25 of 2018 for women missing. Now the petitioners apprehend threat to their life and liberty at the hands of their parents.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents.

4. The marriage between the petitioners has taken place on 31.01.2018 and the case itself came to be filed during the First Week of February, 2018. Now more than one year has been crossed.

5. For considering this petition now, necessarily there should have been any present threat perception to the petitioners' life and liberty. Having stated thus, if the petitioners continue to entertain any threat perception genuinely to their life and liberty, they are free to approach the second respondent with a fresh representation / complaint, upon which the second respondent shall cause such necessary enquiry and take appropriate decision to provide police protection to the life and liberty of the petitioners.

6. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
