O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the Inspector of Police, Muthiahpuram Police Station, Thoothukudi District, not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that one sathiyakala, who is residing in the opposite house of the petitioner died on 31.12.2017, under a suspicious circumstances and a complaint has been lodged with regard to her death before the second respondent. He further submitted that the second respondent has registered a case in Crime No.2 of 2018 under Section 174 Cr.P.C r/w. 306 IPC and under the guise of enquiry the second respondent is harassing the petitioner.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that though the case has been registered originally under Section 174 Cr.P.C r/w. 306 IPC, subsequently, it was altered to under Section 174 Cr.P.C only and investigation is still pending. 4.Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
