ORDER
The present petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members.
2.The contention of Mr.R.Suriyanarayanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is that the private respondents 4, 6 and 8 came once to the Tea Stall of the petitioner on 14.12.2020 at about 2.15 p.m. and threatened the petitioner with dire consequences and that the complaint lodged by the petitioner was also registered in Crime No.2026 of 2020 against the respondents 4, 6 and 8 by the second respondent for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(i) of Indian Penal Code. His specific contention is that inspite of the registration of the First Information Report by the second respondent, the respondents 4, 6 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1157 of 2021 and 8 are still threatening the petitioner.
3.Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would contend that the representation, dated 07.01.2021, submitted by the petitioner to the first respondent was registered in Current Petition No.G2/903/100/2021 and posted for enquiry.
4.Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner based on findings and on merits, after giving notice to the private respondents.
5.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
