O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 25.01.2018.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has borrowed a sum of Rs.9,00,000/- (Ruppes Nine Lakhs Only) from one Saravanan, in the year 2010. Thereafter, the said Saravanan received 11 blank cheques from the petitioner forcefully and also got execution of mortgage deed from the petitioner's wife. He further submitted that subsequently the petitioner has paid several lakhs, but now the said Saravanan is claiming a sum of Rs.36,60,750/-. Hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 25.01.2018, but sofar, no action has been taken.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents has submitted that after receipt of the complaint,

enquiry was conducted and it was found that the dispute is civil in nature and therefore, the complaint was closed on 25.01.2018. 4.Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. It is open to the petitioner to avail any other remedy, which is available, in the manner know to law.
