PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take necessary action to transfer the Cold Swing Machine also known as (Chekku) from Central Prison Coimbatore to V.O.Chidambaranar Memorial House at Ottapidaram Taluk Thoothukudi District based on the petitioner's representation dated 06.01.2024.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take necessary action to transfer the Cold Swing Machine also known as (Chekku) from Central Prison Coimbatore to V.O.Chidambaranar Memorial House at Ottapidaram Taluk, Thoothukudi District, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 06.01.2024. 2/5

2. The Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and 5, would submit that the request of the petitioner will be considered by the administrative side of the Department.

3. In view of the above, we cannot give any positive direction as sought for by the petitioner. It is for the authorities to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.01.2024 and pass appropriate orders.

4. With the above observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
