This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent police to register an FIR on the petitioner's complaint in Petition No.6/18, dated 26.01.2018, lodged before the respondent police and also a direction to them to take appropriate action.
2.According to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the complaint has been referred to the District Social Welfare Officer. Despite the summons issued to the petitioner, she did not turn up. 3.From the above facts, in the present Criminal Original Petition, the concerned District Social Welfare Officer is not made as a party.
