O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent Nos. 6 and 7 to adhere the implementation of G.O.Ms.No.52 dated 30.03.2022 issued by the Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department and fix the property tax as per G.O. for the year 2022 to 2023 at Tiruchendur Municipality by considering the petitioner's representations dated 16.02.2023 and 21.02.2023.
2. This Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The petitioner has sent representations on 16.02.2023 and 21.02.2023, requesting the respondents 6 and 7 to take appropriate steps to regulate the proper fixation of the property tax in the light of G.O.Ms.No.52 dated 30.03.2022 issued by the Municipal Administration and Water Supply
Department. Since no action was taken on the said representations, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.
4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, we direct the sixth respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 16.02.2023 and 21.02.2023 in the light of G.O.Ms.No.52 dated 30.03.2022 issued by the Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
