ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the I Additional District and Sessions Judge, PCR Cases, Tiruchirappalli, to consider the bail application of the petitioner concerned in Cr.No.2 of 2026 on the file of the 3rd respondent police and pass orders in accordance with law on the same day on his surrender, if any petition filed by the petitioner.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner, having borrowed a sum of Rs. 45,00,000/-, failed to repay the said amount to the de facto complainant and thereby cheated the de facto complainant. Hence, the case.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby direct the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, PCR Cases, Tiruchirappalli, to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of his surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No.2 of 2026 on the file of the third respondent police.
