The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, directing the 2nd respondent to register a case, on the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 02.07.2015 and investigate into the same.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.K.Anbarasan, the learned Government Advocate (Crl Side), on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 02.07.2015, a case has already been registered.

3. At this juncture, Mr.S.Muthukumar, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Criminal Original Petition.

4. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed, as not pressed.
