Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to take action against the 2nd and 3rd respondents, their officials and their henchmen from demanding the petitioner to repay the loan due amount for his wife namely I.Jaculian Juliet loan account No.58191190 which occurred due to "Moratorium" announced by the first respondent because of COVID-19.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 2.The petitioner is said to have borrowed the loan amount from the second respondent herein. However, the petitioner could not repay the same due to circumstances beyond his control. 3.The petitioner's counsel would contend that since moratorium has been announced by the Reserve Bank of India, the second respondent is not justified in taking coercive measures. W.P.(MD)No.1388 of 2021 petitioner also alleges that the second respondent has been sending rowdy elements to his house and threatening him and his family members. In this regard, the petitioner has given a complaint to the first respondent herein.

4. It is entirely for the first respondent to look into the matter. It is not for this Court to issue any direction in this regard. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
