ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the complainant, to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Lalgudi to dispose of the case in S.T.C.No.30 of 2013, at early. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has filed a complaint under Sections 138 and 142 of Negotiable Instruments Act, against the respondent herein and based on the said complaint, the case was taken on file in S.T.C.No.30 of 2013, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Lalgudi. She further submitted that though the case was taken on file as a summary case in the year 2013, and aforesaid case has been pending for the past five years, hence, she requests to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Lalgudi to dispose of the aforesaid case at early.

3.The petitioner has produced Diary Extract of the case in S.T.C.No.30 of 2013. A perusal of the said Diary Extract shows that the complainant's evidence was closed and it was posted for questioning under Section 313 of Criminal Procedure Code as early as on 13.05.2015, and thereafter, no progress has been made in the aforesaid case. Hence, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Lalgudi is directed to dispose of the aforesaid case within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.With the aforesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed.
