Common Prayer: Criminal Original Petitions filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the Judicial Magistrate, Thuraiyur to dispose of the cases in S.T.C.Nos.943 and 944 of 2018.

COMMON ORDER The present petitions are filed seeking for a direction to the Judicial Magistrate, Thuraiyur to dispose of the cases in S.T.C.Nos.943 and 944 of 2018.

2.Mr.B.Jawahar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that though the complaints lodged by the present petitioner under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, in S.T.C.Nos.943 and 944 of 2018 are pending from the year 2018, the respondent is taking several adjournments for examination of witness on his evidence and therefore, a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thuraiyur, is necessary for speedy disposal of the cases in S.T.C.Nos.943 and 944 of 2018.

3.Since this is a case for a direction to the Judicial Magistrate, Thuraiyur for speedy disposal of cases, this Court feels that issuance of notice to the respondent is not necessary. In the interests of justice, the Judicial Magistrate, Thuraiyur, is directed to dispose of the cases in S.T.C.Nos.943 and 944 of 2018, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of this order.

4.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of.
