ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the second respondent to file the final report in Crime No.12 of 2022 dated 07.11.2022 and proceed with the same as per law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the second respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.12 of 2022 and that the investigation is pending and they are awaiting the test report. Hence, he seeks two months time to file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.12 of 2022 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
