O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner seeks transfer of patta in her name. The revenue record originally reflects the name of her father. The petitioner's father is said to be no more. The petitioner claims that the other legal heirs have given their consent for mutation of patta in her name. The petitioner has given representation in this regard before the third respondent.

3. The third respondent shall conduct an enquiry into the petitioner's application and pass final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The third respondent shall put all the interested parties on notice before passing final order. It is for the third respondent to satisfy himself or herself about the petitioner's legal entitlement. This writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
